Thailand's Extravagant Rooftop Bar: Sanctuary Bar

When visiting Bangkok, aside from the basics: delicious food and two cups of Thai milk tea a day (?), the bar culture is also quite popular.
Not only does it boast several Asia's 50 Best Bars, but rooftop bars have also become a trending hotspot in recent years.

Located on the rooftop of the InterContinental Hotel, Sanctuary Bar features a bamboo-woven visual aesthetic that is incredibly photogenic! It's recommended to visit before sunset to enjoy both the sunset and the night view. The rooftop breeze is also quite refreshing, so even though it's outdoors, it doesn't feel overly stuffy.

The drinks are decent, fairly standard, but this place is highly recommended for bringing along female friends or a group of girlfriends. The atmosphere is fantastic! Highly recommended.

There aren't strict dress codes; on the day of the visit, sleeveless tops, shorts, and closed-toe shoes were allowed. However, outside food is not permitted, and there’s no place to store it, so keep that in mind.
By the way, you can also spot another rooftop bar, Tichuca, nearby. Highly recommended for everyone!
