The RUINS—Bantayan Island

A German Ruin and Cliff is a well known sight on Bantayan Island. It’s history goes back to the late 90’s where a German man built his house but left his property after few years and because of unknown issues. Since then it more and more became a ruin with a mysterious saga. Beautiful hidden Beach in Bantayan Island.

How to get there?

From Cebu North Bus Terminal —Take a Ceres Bus bound for Hagnaya Port. The travel time is around 4 hours and the fare is around PHP 250.00.

From Hagnaya Port in San Remigio, Cebu —buy your ticket to get to Bantayan Island. You can choose between Island Shipping or Super Shuttle Ferry bound for Santa Fe Port. In our case, we took the Island Shipping. The first trip is at 3:00 AM, and the last trip is 5:30 PM. The travel time is around 1 hour, and the fare is around PHP 185.00. You also need to pay for an additional PHP 10.00 for your Terminal Fee.

The moment you arrived it at the Santa Fe Port, you have to pay the Ecological Fee, which is around PHP 30.00. From the port, take a tricycle to your Resort and fare is around PHP 20-30. Only, if you have booked your Hotel beforehand and have pre-arranged shuttle service with the Resort, then they will pick you up at the Port.

*Due to pandemic, you need to have booking so you have QR Code inorder to get in Bantayan. Present valid ID.
