I drove from Xi'an to Baoji on the weekend and went to the Tang Dynasty Qin Mausoleum. I looked at Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and Crowne Plaza, and finally chose Crowne Plaza after comprehensive consideration. The basic price is more than 400, and it is only more than 500 with 5k points. I upgraded to a 36th floor river view suite. If the weather is good, you can overlook the Qinling Mountains and sit in front of the window to watch the sunset. It's so beautiful!
The breakfast arrangement is really thoughtful. In addition to the regular IHG English Brunch, at least 4 dining tables are full of famous Xi'an snacks. Because I am prone to dizziness and carbohydrates, I did not choose Qin-style breakfast. I was surprised to find that there was a Massaman curry chickpea chicken leg in a corner, as well as a Syrian salad, butter cake, and they were all my favorites. The Syrian salad is the same as the breakfast I ate on the streets of Damascus more than ten years ago. It is very simple lettuce + colorful peppers + cucumber onions + quinoa, a little olive oil and salt, very refreshing!
