Shaanxi's Second City!

Xi'an is obviously the most famous city in Shaanxi province, however it is also worth visiting Baoji.

Getting there: a one hour fast train from Xi'an.

There are some classic museums and excellent river walks. Nice pagodas to take photographs of and excellent quaint parks to wonder around.

Hotel? Definitely choose Crowne Plaza. A wonderful five star hotel with stunning views. Excellent breakfast and half the price of 5 star hotels in Xi'an.
