Olive & Co, Batam – Scenic Spot with Great Food!

Stumbled upon Olive & Co by chance during my stay at Harris Hotel Batam Centre — it’s literally right next door, so super convenient. What caught my attention immediately was the incredible view the restaurant offers. You get sweeping views of the bay and ferry terminal — perfect for a chill coffee break or sunset dinner.

Initially, I popped in just for a coffee after my workout, and I was already impressed by the vibe and the menu, which had a nice variety of both Western and local dishes. Later that evening, I brought my missus back for dinner, and we had a great experience. The food was flavorful, well presented, and service was warm and attentive. Definitely a step above what you’d usually expect around the area.

However, a bit of a hiccup the next morning — we went back at around 10am hoping to try their breakfast, only to find the place still closed. This was despite the signage (and online info) stating they open at 7am, even on Saturdays. It was a bit of a letdown, especially since we were looking forward to a relaxing breakfast with a view.

Still, if you’re in the area and looking for a solid meal in a beautiful setting, Olive & Co is definitely worth checking out. Just double-check the opening hours before you go!
