You can reach Batu Caves from the city center either by train or Grab taxi. However, since trains run infrequently, it might be a good idea to take the train to get there and use Grab for the return trip!

The colorful staircase has a total of 272 steps. In Malaysia's hot and humid weather, climbing them can be a bit challenging 🥵. But thanks to the many monkeys along the way, some even sitting on the handrails, it felt more like a zero-distance zoo, making the climb much more enjoyable (lol).

Inside the cave, there’s a distinct smell, likely due to the presence of bats.

Despite this, the sacred atmosphere of the cave is something you can only truly appreciate by visiting. The moment sunlight streams in is breathtakingly beautiful, leaving you momentarily speechless. ✨
