Just back from exploring Nanning and Beihai, I found unforgettable sights and real local flavor 😎🌴. If you're craving scenic escapes and pristine beaches, this short itinerary packs the best highlights.

Day 1: Nanning – City Energy + Phoenix Valley
Start your stay at Nanning Hotel (No.38 Minsheng Road) — love their competitive rates and the breakfast spread is *chef’s kiss*. The hotel’s central spot puts you steps from malls, food streets, and metro stations, so exploring is easy (plus, rooms are super clean with handy amenities).
Head out to Phoenix Valley Scenic Area (Phoenix Valley, Sitang, Santang Town, Xingning District, Nanning). Open 8:00–18:00 daily, tickets are just ¥35! It’s great for hiking, lush landscapes, and the crowds are way less intense than typical tourist spots.

Day 2: Beihai – Sun, Sand, and Sea
Hop on a train or bus to Beihai (direct routes run frequently), then make a beeline for Bei Hai Silver Beach (Function Island, No. 12, East Gate, Beihai Yintan Scenic Area, Yinhai District). The beach is open May–Oct 6:00–23:00 and Nov–Apr 6:00–22:30 — come early for sunrise or stay late to catch sunset! The sand here is famously soft and the water is perfect for a chill swim.

Travel Tips:
Getting around: Both cities have metro or public bus options. Nanning’s metro makes hotel hopping and sightseeing effortless.
Food: Try street eats near Nanning Hotel — Sanjieliangxiang Food Street is buzzing at night.
Money & Prep: Carry cash for small purchases; most places take digital payments too. Phoenix Valley is best with sneakers or hiking shoes.
