Yonghe Lama Temple, a historic temple in Beijing

🙏Yonghe Temple (Chinese: 雍和宫, "Palace of Peace and Harmony")

Amen 🙏 is a Tibetan Buddhist temple and monastery of the Gelugpa sect located on Yonghegong Road, Dongcheng District, Beijing, China. The temple's architecture and design combines elements of Han Chinese and Tibetan art, and is one of the largest Tibetan Buddhist temples in China.

Yonghe Temple was built in 1694 during the Qing Dynasty. The area was originally the residence of the imperial court eunuchs. During the Ming Dynasty, Yonghe Temple was the birthplace of the Qianlong Emperor. During the mid- and late Qing dynasties, Yonghe Temple was the highest-ranking Buddhist temple in the empire.
