👍️Must-visit attraction: Fayuansi Temple, also known as Minzhong Temple, is located at No. 7, Fayuansi Qianjie, Xicheng District, Beijing. It was first built in the 19th year of the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty (645) and rebuilt in the 11th year of the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty (1733). It is one of the oldest famous temples in Beijing.

Fayuansi Temple covers an area of 6,700 square meters, with a grand architectural scale and rigorous structure. It adopts a central axis symmetrical layout, facing south, and is divided into the middle, east, and west routes. The middle route is the main building, with a character shadow wall, mountain gate, bell and drum tower, Hall of Heavenly Kings, Mahavira Hall, Guanyin Hall, Pilu Hall, Great Compassion Hall, and Sutra Library from south to north.

Fayuansi Temple is not only an ancient temple with a long history in Beijing, but also the location of the Chinese Buddhist Academy and the Chinese Buddhist Library and Museum. It is an important place for training young monks and studying Buddhist culture.
