Year of the Snake Lunar New Year | Longqing Gorge Ice Lantern Festival, Beijing's Ice and Snow Feast

The 39th Longqing Gorge Ice Lantern and Snow Carnival is themed "Shining Through Time and Space: A Glimpse of Eternity" and incorporates trendy elements such as the Year of the Snake zodiac, Journey to the West, and Pop Mart to create a 500,000-square-meter ice and snow park for entertainment, fun, sightseeing, and food.

The carnival is mainly divided into the lantern area, ice lantern area, and canyon area. In addition to the ice sculpture exhibition, there are large light sculptures, lantern trees, naked-eye 3D mountain projections, and more. The ice and snow canyon also features popular bubble ice.

❄️ Enjoy ice lanterns and ice sculptures
Fashion, coolness, and anime are the keywords for this year's indoor ice sculpture and ice lantern exhibition.
Original IPs such as Long Xiaoxia, White Snake of West Lake, and Nuwa and Fuxi are featured in various Chinese-style snake images. The Journey to the West-themed scenes, such as the South Heaven Gate, large Sun Wukong, Destiny Tower, and Hanging Temple, are all worth checking out. Pop Mart IPs include interactive settings such as ice sculpture walls, mazes, and ice slides.
The huge ice waterfall at the end is magnificent and looks great in photos.
⚠️ The temperature in the exhibition area is low, so be careful of slipping and keep warm, especially your hands and feet. Bring a hand warmer.
⚠️ It is recommended to bring your own small lanterns, lion dance props, and Fu characters for photos to add a festive touch.

The colorful lanterns, various tree lights, and various wonderful shaped lights complement each other to create a dazzling night. The central area also features a snake lantern group, and there is a snow machine nearby for a "snowfall" photo.

The Long Elevator is not far from the ice surface, and the elevator stops at 16:00. You need to walk for about 10 minutes.
Due to the lack of snow this year, the bubble ice under the ice surface is particularly clear. UTV snow tubing and ice cars make this a paradise for children.
