Experience a Blue Fantasy in Malaysia!
In the suburbs of Kuala Lumpur (Selangor), I visited the Blue Mosque where the blue sky and the mosque blend seamlessly. It’s not just about the aesthetics—it’s a place to experience a serene tranquility that stays with you.
🕌 Atmosphere/Facilities:
The moment I saw it, I couldn’t help but exclaim, "Wow, it’s huge... and so beautiful!" The blue dome seems to merge with the sky, and the sheer scale is overwhelming. Inside, it’s quiet and majestic, yet surprisingly calming.
🕒 I stayed for about an hour. An English-speaking guide provided a detailed tour, and it’s free!
🚌 It’s about a 30-minute ride from KL city center via Grab. Surprisingly easy to access.
📸 Don’t miss the full view of the exterior and the light streaming into the prayer hall. It’s especially stunning in the evening.
🚻 Restrooms are available—clean and convenient.
🎁 There aren’t many souvenirs, but you can get commemorative postcards 📮.
👗 Women can borrow robes for free, so you don’t have to worry about your outfit.
📍 Location:
Persiaran Masjid, Sekyen 14, 40000 Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia
🕰️ Opening Hours:
Saturday to Thursday: 9:00 AM–12:00 PM / 2:00 PM–4:00 PM (Closed for visits on Fridays)
*Note: Visitors need to register and wear robes, so it’s best to allow extra time for your visit!
