The Geological Museum of China, located at No. 15, Yangrou Hutong, Xisi, Beijing, is one of Asia's oldest, largest, and most comprehensive geoscience museums with a rich collection. In 2022, the Geological Museum of China welcomed 154,164 visitors.
The Gem Hall showcases gems, jade, organic gems, precious metals, and their finished products. It also incorporates knowledge and points of interest related to gem identification, appreciation, cutting, evaluation, formation, microscopic world, distribution, mining, processing, jewelry setting, artificial gem enhancement and synthesis, and gem culture.
The Gem Hall primarily features single-crystal gemstones and jade, displaying natural and artificial gems side-by-side for comparison to aid in identifying similar gems commonly found in the market.
Central Area: A sophisticated, high-end display case serves as the centerpiece, showcasing exhibits that are regularly updated to reflect changing themes.
