Flower Viewing Guide | National Botanical Garden

- A World of Flowers ✌🏻

Here's a two-hour quick tour guide:
🎟️ Ticket Information
Purchase tickets through the "National Botanical Garden" WeChat official account. Recommended: North Garden ticket (5 yuan). Other exhibition halls require separate tickets. The South Garden mainly features greenhouses and research institutes. For flower viewing, head straight to the North Garden!

🚇 Transportation
Subway is the best option! No traffic jams!
Take the Xijiao Line (Bagou—National Botanical Garden). Crowds are similar to working day morning rush hours. Consider traveling during off-peak hours to avoid crowds.

💐 Two-Hour Flower Viewing Route
✅ Entrance (North Garden-Southeast Gate)
Turn left at the entrance to take photos with a stunning, giant mountain peach tree!
✅ Chengjing Lake-Mountain Peach Valley
A few hundred meters ahead is Mountain Peach Valley—perfect timing for peach blossom viewing season, with food stalls and accessory vendors creating a lively atmosphere!
Take a leisurely stroll around the lake to enjoy peach blossoms, green willows, and mandarin ducks playing in the water—so relaxing!
✅ Sightseeing Car (20 yuan/person)
After visiting Mountain Peach Valley, return to the entrance to take the sightseeing car to the next stop, Wofo Temple. (1.5km journey, passing through peony garden, herbaceous peony garden, and crabapple garden. Crabapples are blooming; peonies and herbaceous peonies haven't bloomed yet)
✅ Wofo Temple-Magnolias
Perennial Garden (west of Wofo Temple): Several standalone magnolia trees, including the stunning star magnolia!
East of Wofo Temple: A vast sea of magnolia blossoms, perfect for photos!
✅ Yongping Plum Garden-Plum Blossoms
After photographing magnolias, you'll reach the plum garden. Due to the strong fragrance, there are many 🐝 here, so be careful not to get stung!
Various plum varieties are in bloom, including the interestingly named "Jiangnan Wusuo" plum and a unique tree with half-white, half-pink blossoms.

✅ Return Journey
Continue walking through the plum garden to circle back to Wofo Temple entrance. We caught the sightseeing car before service ended at 17:30, heading directly to the park's southeast gate, convenient for both subway and bus access.

💡 Flower Viewing Tips
1️⃣ Start early! Lighting isn't good for photos after sunset!
2️⃣ Sightseeing Car vs. Walking: Main gate→Wofo Temple is about 30 minutes on foot, 10 minutes by sightseeing car. Operating hours vary, check with staff on-site.
3️⃣ Large temperature differences between morning and evening in spring, bring a light jacket!
4️⃣ Cherry Valley: East of Wofo Temple, follow the stream uphill. Less crowded and peaceful, with soothing sounds of flowing water during the climb. (Two hours round trip, leave enough time to exit the park!)
