Found a Hidden Gem Hotel with Exceptional Value in Taiyuan

I was amazed by the service at JW Marriott Taiyuan!

The experience at JW Marriott Taiyuan was absolutely perfect 💯. The Executive Suite 2118 immediately wowed me with its spacious layout - a grand living room with a dining table, creating an impressive atmosphere. 🏘️ Room/Layout: The suite is about 120 square meters, with every space thoughtfully utilized. The bathrooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows offering excellent lighting and views. My child had a blast running around the room. Chinese paintings in the entrance hall added artistic flair, while the semi-open design connecting the bedroom and bathroom was quite innovative.

Manager Andy's service was exceptional, like having a personal butler. He would remind us about the weather and suitable clothing before outings, and showed genuine care for our emotional well-being - incredibly thoughtful. From understanding guest preferences to every detail of the reception service, his high professional standards made me fall in love with both the hotel and Taiyuan.

🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The only minor drawback was fireworks noise lasting until 4am, which affected our sleep. Apart from this small issue, everything else was great. The room was spotlessly clean.

🛌Amenities/Facilities: The welcome gifts perfectly matched my collecting interests - Shanxi vinegar baby plush pendant and coal plush pendant were so creative, definitely deserving praise! The public areas were distinctively decorated with "Strike the wooden fish for good fortune," creating a festive atmosphere. During happy hour at the Executive Lounge, the staff were extremely enthusiastic, with four staff members specially assigned during Lunar New Year. Although the spicy stir-fried pork wasn't quite to my taste that day, their dedication was evident.

💰Average Cost: Price remains stable at around 800, offering exceptional value!

💗Other tips:
JW Kitchen breakfast runs from 7-11am, with staff escorting guests to their seats. Highly recommend the knife-cut noodles at the noodle station, with self-service sauce - absolutely delicious. They also offer fresh juice, but the meatball soup was the star that day, with chewy meatballs and delicious broth. Special mention to Geoffrey, the supervisor in black uniform, for his outstanding service. When I hesitated seeing the meatball soup was empty, he immediately helped carry my other dishes to the table, thoughtfully asked about dietary restrictions, and brought a steaming bowl of meatball soup from the kitchen. I noticed he treated every guest with the same proactive enthusiasm and equal attention, earning praise from neighboring tables too.

Next time I visit, I must properly experience the Executive Lounge dining - looking forward to meeting again!
