Beijing｜Guijie Braised Large Intestine

Come to Guijie Street late at night to taste the legendary braised large intestine. As soon as you step into the store, you are surrounded by a rich aroma. Although it is already midnight, there are still a few tables of customers in the store.

I ordered a bowl of the signature braised large intestine, and a set of soy milk and fried dough sticks. The stewed food is very rich in ingredients, including large intestines, meat slices, dried tofu and steamed buns that have absorbed the soup. Every bite is tasty, salty and fragrant, and the more you eat, the more addictive it becomes.

This is my first time trying soy milk. The unique fermented taste is really impressive. It’s hard to describe the flavor, but when paired with crispy doughnuts and pickles, it magically becomes acceptable! Although it can’t be said to be delicious, at least I can drink it and I finished the whole bowl!
