Beijing Chaoyang Olympic Forest Park｜Top-ranking flower sea in spring

🗣️The Olympic Forest Park covers an area of 680 hectares and is the largest urban green landscape in Asia. It is known as the "back garden" of the 29th Olympic Games. The park is divided into two gardens, the South Garden and the North Garden. The South Garden is dominated by large-scale landscapes such as Yangshan and Aohai, while the North Garden is dominated by natural and wild forests. In April, many flowers are in full bloom in the park, such as rape flowers, crabapples, elmleaf plums, cherry blossoms, tulips, etc. It is a great place to enjoy flowers and go for an outing.

☝️Flower viewing route: See the rapeseed terraces on the east side of Nanyuan Wetland, then go to the Aohai line to see flowers such as elmleaf plum, forsythia, apricot, beauty plum, peach blossom, and various colors of crabapple. Then go to the ecological corridor bridge to admire the tulips, and finally go to the area between the East Gate and the North Gate of Beiyuan to admire the crabapples, elmleaf plums, and cherry blossoms.
☝️Leisure route: Enter the park from the south gate and head to Aohai. You can choose to walk by the lake, feed fish or go boating. Then climb up Yangshan Mountain to overlook the park. Then go to the North Garden through the ecological corridor and enjoy a leisurely time in the flower field area.

1️⃣Flower scenery: The rapeseed terraces on the east side of the South Garden Wetland, the crabapple and cherry blossom forests in the North Garden, and the tulip sea on the ecological corridor bridge are all great places for taking photos.
2️⃣ Landscape: From the top of Yangshan Mountain, you can overlook Aohai and its surrounding scenery. The weeping willows, flowers and the lake by the Aohai Lake complement each other and are a great background for taking photos.
3️⃣Featured buildings: The five-ring logo of the Olympic Declaration Square and the ecological corridor across the Fifth Ring Road are both unique photo backgrounds.

1️⃣The park has dense vegetation and many mosquitoes, so it is recommended to bring mosquito repellent.
2️⃣ Wear comfortable shoes and clothing for walking in the park.
The weather in March and April is changeable, so you can bring a jacket and be prepared for sun or rain protection.
4️⃣ Take care of the environment, do not trample on flowers and plants, and do not litter.
5️⃣If you need to rent a sightseeing car or bicycle, pay attention to the relevant regulations and prices, and arrange your travel time reasonably.

🚇Subway: Take Line 8 to Forest Park South Gate Station to enter South Park; take Lincuiqiao Station to go to North Park.
🚌Bus: Yangshanqiao South Station and Yangshanqiao North Station of Bus Rapid Transit Line 3 can reach the East Gate of Nanyuan and the East Gate of Beiyuan respectively.
🚗Self-driving: There are parking lots at each entrance of the park.
