💡Other Tips:
1. The hotel is very close to two subway stations, making it unnecessary to take taxis to any attractions. The walk to Line 8 passes through the entire Dashilan commercial street and Qianmen Street, perfect for shopping and dining.
2. Ziguangyuan's milk skin yogurt and roast duck are excellent—I bought the yogurt three times! The Dashilan branch is right next to the hotel. Sanyuan Meiyuan's apricot tofu is deliciously refreshing—I also bought it three times. Sanhe Daoxiangcun's mung bean cakes have a pleasantly light sweetness—I loved them so much I ordered more online after returning home. At Temple of Heaven Park, you can enjoy the same afternoon tea as in the Forbidden City without queuing—enter through the west gate.
3. When visiting the Old Summer Palace, first see the "Horse Head" statue at the south gate museum (closes at 4 PM; combo ticket holders can enter directly with ID), then take a taxi to the east gate to begin your tour (enter east gate, exit south gate for closer subway access).
