A hidden riverside restaurant in Gubei that you must tell others about

Who would have thought that… walking out of the outdoor show area in Gubei Water Town, just about 300 meters, crossing a small arched bridge, you will find a secret Chinese restaurant hidden in a small alley on the right. It is a restaurant that we “accidentally” found, but it turned out to be the most memorable meal of this trip.

The restaurant is located by the river, the atmosphere is quiet, there are both indoor and outdoor areas by the river, sit and enjoy the cool natural breeze without having to rely on air conditioning, looking at the boats slowly sailing with a flock of ducks swimming happily, I must say that it is perfect for sitting and chilling, eating, looking at the view to the fullest.

🍽️ Menu we ordered (3 people)
• 🥬 Stir-fried cabbage with garlic
A simple dish but the taste is extraordinary! Fresh, crispy vegetables, fragrant garlic, eaten with hot rice is so good that we had to order another bowl of rice.
• 🐷 Fried pork with sweet and sour sauce
Crispy fried pork topped with sweet and sour sauce, a must-order dish! Both taste and appearance are passable without having to worry.
• 🔥 Mala Hotpot (mildly spicy)
Full of ingredients, vegetables, glass noodles, and pork bones. The soup is fragrant and spicy enough to numb the tongue, not too spicy to eat. The cool weather and hot hotpot go together perfectly.

Conclusion: This meal is filling. Every dish is delicious. Plus, the price is not as expensive as you think. It is very suitable for those who want to find a quiet restaurant by the river that is not a tourist attraction.
