One of Beijing's most important landmarks is a must-see: Tiananmen Square, the largest square in the world and the epicenter of numerous historical events.
We started our day by walking through the Tiananmen Gate, which boasts a large portrait of Chairman Mao Zedong. This corner is a popular photo spot, a must-see for everyone. The atmosphere is very open and pleasant, with a cool breeze blowing on our visit. People were gradually strolling, taking photos, and standing in the area filled with historical significance.
From the square, we walked across to the adjacent China National Museum. The building is enormous, designed in a blend of classical and modern Chinese styles. Inside, it's divided into various exhibition zones, covering artifacts, artwork, Chinese civilization from various eras, and even the country's economic development today.
For history lovers, those who enjoy exploring antiquities and understanding the country through culture, this is a must-see.
