🍃☀️🍁❄️ Four Seasons in Beijing — A Beautiful Journey

Living in Beijing for two years gave me the chance to experience something we don’t have in Indonesia — four seasons!
From cherry blossoms in spring to snowy days in winter, every season brought a different kind of beauty and adventure. 🌸🌞🍂❄️
🌸 Spring (春天)
Spring in Beijing is cool, fresh, and perfect for traveling.
And yes — you can enjoy cherry blossoms here too!
📍 Top spots: Yu Yuan Tan Park and even parts of the Great Wall at Mutianyu turn pink in spring.
☀️ Summer (夏天)
Beijing summers are hot (seriously hot!) during the day, but the evenings are cooler.
It’s not my favorite season, but there are still ways to enjoy it.
💡 My go-tos: watching the sunset and strolling around Beihai Park and Houhai, or chilling in one of the many city parks.
🍁 Autumn (秋天)
Autumn in Beijing is simply stunning — probably my favorite season.
The leaves turn red, yellow, and orange, and the weather is just right.
🍂 Best spots: Xiang Shan (Fragrant Hills) for hiking, or just exploring city parks.
I also loved walking around my old campus at Tsinghua University — it’s beautiful in the fall!
❄️ Winter (冬天)
Winter in Beijing can be really cold — sometimes dropping to -15°C, and yes, it snows (though not too often).
If you're into snow activities, you can head to Nanshan Ski Resort, not far from the city, for some winter fun! ⛷️
Experiencing the full cycle of seasons in Beijing was unforgettable — each one with its own charm.
From blooming flowers to snowflakes falling, it made everyday life feel a little more magical.
Which season would you love to see in Beijing? 🧣🍃🌤️
