The beautiful scenery of Jingxi Cherry Valley is like a painting

Jingxi Cherry Valley is located in the northwest part of the National Botanical Garden (North Garden). From the south gate or southeast gate of the National Botanical Garden, follow the main tour path northward, passing through major viewing areas such as the Rose Garden, Tulip Garden, Tropical (Greenhouse) Botanical Garden, Peony Garden, and Crabapple Garden. The mountain path gradually narrows, and along the water system and wooden scenic boardwalk, after passing the cherry blossom and plum blossom viewing areas, you enter the Metasequoia grove, which basically marks the entrance to the Cherry Valley scenic area. Continuing to the "water source" nearly a thousand meters away, during the walk you will encounter natural landscapes and red revolutionary education and thoughtful service facilities cleverly and harmoniously arranged, such as the "Pine on the Rock," "Yuanbao Stone," "129 Memorial Base," "Defend North China Monument," waterfalls, strange rocks, pools, pavilions, and tea houses. Viewing the Metasequoia, listening to the flowing water, and admiring the water scenery is refreshing and delightful. When the mist device beside the boardwalk is activated, the entire Cherry Valley scenic area becomes ethereal and dreamlike, a magnificent sight. The Cherry Valley scenic area is part of the National Botanical Garden, so no additional ticket is required to enter (the Botanical Garden adult ticket is 5 yuan per person, free for seniors over 60). The daily opening hours are 6:00-19:00 in summer and 7:00-17:00 in winter. The surrounding transportation is very convenient, with subway and multiple bus routes reaching the park’s southeast gate. Driving there is also easy by following navigation instructions, and you can park at the parking lot on the east side of the Botanical Garden or around the Xiangquan roundabout parking lot.
