Travel to Beijing for 5 days and 4 nights (budget 23,000) 🫶🏻🤍

First time in Beijinggggggggg💓 Let's go on a 5-day, 4-night trip to Beijing! Easy travel, juicy Tanghu, delicious food, so much fun!
📍Recommended apps to have on your phone:
1. Ailipay (95% of payments are made through this app for dining, shopping, and travel. You can also link it to your Travel Card debit card). 2. Metro Man (check train stations and train schedules). 3. Didi (convenient for hailing a taxi, pinpointing the location without communication). 4. Google Translate (very important in emergencies). 5. Maps/Baidu Map (maps and directions). 6. WeChat (for receiving store discount coupons, viewing store menus with English translation, and chatting with automatic Chinese-Thai translation).
🍡Day 1 arrived in Beijing in the dark. My flight was delayed for 4 hours. Take the Airport Express (25yd) to Line 5, then walk almost a kilometer. (I wanted to cry here because there are no stairs or elevators. If you're staying at the same hotel, I recommend changing to Line 10 and Line 8. It's a short walk from the station. There's an escalator to the street.) • We stayed at Crystal Orange Hotel Wangfujing Street, near the Jinyu Hutong Exit (Exit C, B), near the apm shopping mall, a 2-minute walk away, very convenient. • We ate at the restaurant next to the hotel.
🍡DAY 2• Beijing Zoo: The zoo isn't very big, so you can walk around comfortably. There are lots of pandas, but they're all tiny. My favorite was Brown Bear, who's so big and welcoming. • Nan Luo Gu Xiang (Nanluoguxiang Station Exit E): This ancient pedestrian street has a great vibe! There are lots of desserts, and anyone with a sweet tooth will love this place. Don't forget to stop by Rugoo, it's absolutely delicious. • Beijing Bell and Drum Towers: Walk from the pedestrian street to the end, turn left, and keep walking until you reach the Drum Tower and Bell Tower. This street is packed with photos, and there are also many Chinese photographers. • Beijing apm: We ate at the Mascot Lounge on the top floor. The food was delicious, easy to order with a QR code at the table, and it wasn't too expensive. Then we went downstairs to order Heytea.
🍡DAY 3• Great Wall of China (Badaling Pass) Conveniently located. Take the metro to Qinghe and buy a high-speed rail ticket to Badalingchangcheng. I bought a cable car ticket from Trip (you have to exchange your ticket before boarding). It takes about 3-4 minutes to get to the top, but you can also walk to two more towers. This one is steep, so I walked down. The walk down is easy and not too tiring. • Jindingxuan Ditan Branch (Yonghegong Station Exit A) Delicious 24-hour dim sum. The staff are friendly. You can scan the QR code to order. • Wangfujing Street, Beijing: A pedestrian street that has been modernized. The shops along the way are neat and tidy, and the lights are beautiful.
🍡 DAY 4 • China Science and Technology Museum (Olympic Park Station) The entrance fee is only 60 yen. It's quite large and divided into several zones. And the Chinese are known for their bots and AI. They're well-organized and thoughtful. Children should enjoy it. • Tiananmen Square (Tiananmen Dong Station) I booked this one day in advance. They checked every corner and every nook, but I was the last to enter. It wasn't crowded. Around 6 PM, they let you enter the center of the plaza to see the flag. The rules were strict, and there were lots of people checking around. Qianmen Street is a pedestrian street with a lot of food and a lot of people. There are many famous restaurants in the area. Then I went back to eat Heytea at Apm Mall near the original hotel.
🍡 DAY 5 Sanlitun, a brand-new neighborhood with a Siamese feel, contrasting with the old palace district. There are many brand-name shops, but they open quite late. I went early and the shops weren't open yet. 😂 So I went back to the old pedestrian street I'd been to before, Nanluoguxiang. I loved it so much! I also went to the dessert shop again. I went back to get my luggage from the hotel and took the metro line 8, line 10, and the airport express to the airport. (There were a lot of transfers, but it was convenient, not tiring, and took about the same amount of time. This route is great!)

Where will I go next? I'll share more about my next trip.
