Preparation

Inner-city transportation: Shared electric scooters are convenient and quick, priced at 2 yuan/15 minutes; walking is also a great choice to better experience the charm of the ancient city; there are also tricycles, but be sure to bargain.

One-day tour: In the morning, visit Diantou Street to experience the lively morning market, then visit Sanyuan Pavilion and Baxiguan; have lunch on Diantou Street; in the afternoon, tour Dafu Residence and Wolong Academy; at dusk, climb Jichuanmen to watch the sunset, then take a night cruise on the Ting River to enjoy the light show on both banks.
