summarizing the most beautiful hutong autumn viewing routes and photo spots in Nanluoguxiang and Beiluoguxiang:

➡️ Starting point: Nanluoguxiang Subway Station
➡️ Fuxue Hutong: The ginkgo trees at Lingxing Gate and the 800-year-old jujube tree at the Wen Chancellor’s Shrine have started to turn yellow
➡️ Houyuan’en Temple Hutong: The white ash trees near Mao Dun’s former residence and several at the west entrance of the hutong have turned yellow
➡️ Shajing Hutong: A few white ash trees at the hutong entrance are good for photos, and the nearby restaurant allows rooftop photography
➡️ South entrance of Beiluoguxiang: A white ash tree next to the Caishen Temple is fully yellow, but it’s crowded and not convenient for photos
➡️ Follow Beiluoguxiang northward, several beautiful white ash trees line the way
➡️ Huafeng Hutong: There are several very pretty white ash trees here, and it’s less crowded, highly recommended
➡️ Baochao Hutong: At the intersection with Huafeng Hutong, there is a uniquely shaped white ash tree, not yet yellow
➡️ Doufuchi Hutong: The Hong’en Temple here has been renovated and reopened, giving a bit of a Zhizhu Temple vibe
