When it comes to Beijing specialties, it's undoubtedly "Peking duck."
Among them, the long-established Quanjude, founded in 1864, is truly a "holy land."
The Wangfujing branch is located in a popular tourist area, and even its dignified appearance exudes a sense of dignity.
Stepping inside, enveloped in traditional red and gold décor,
you instantly feel as if you've traveled back in time to the world of Beijing's long-established restaurants.

🍽️ A Ritual Experience of the Famous Peking Duck
I ordered the "Peking Duck Course" I had reserved.
After a while, a chef in a white coat began cutting the gleaming golden duck right before my eyes.
The satisfying sound of the knife chopping and the fragrant aroma filling the air were simply irresistible!

The crispy, fragrant skin, slightly sweet miso sauce, green onions, and thin rice cake (spring rolls) all add up to a mouthful... this is authentic Peking duck. It wasn't too oily, and the balance of savory and savory was exquisite.

☕ Service and Atmosphere
The staff were very attentive and seemed accustomed to serving tourists. They had an English menu, and some staff members spoke a little Japanese. However, it gets quite busy on weekend nights, so I recommend making a reservation in advance if possible.

The restaurant is spacious, and is frequented by groups and local families,
so you can enjoy authentic flavors in a lively atmosphere.

💰 Price Range and Satisfaction
A whole Peking duck costs around 300-400 NTD. While a little pricey, it's well worth it considering the presentation, taste, and atmosphere of this long-established restaurant. There's also a wide selection of side dishes, and the "duck soup" and "stir-fried vegetables" are particularly mild and recommended.
