Gubei Water Town

A good idea to spend weekend when you're in Beijing. The name is Gubei Water Town or 古北水镇 in its native name. It's a beautiful water town in the north part of Beijing, approximately 2.5 hours from the downtown of Beijing.

I recommend you to stay here a day, since it gave us different vibe at day and night. If you still have energy, you can also climb to Simatai Great Wall with additional 40 RMB of entrance ticket.
