Known as the "Pearl City" of Anhui, Bengbu boasts a rich historical heritage and the lively atmosphere of the Huai River. This 2-3 day itinerary will help you unlock its unique charm!
📌 Recommended Itinerary
Day 1: Cultural Exploration
Morning: Visit the Bengbu Museum (free, reservation required) to see the 7,300-year-old pottery human head sculptures from the Shuangdun site and experience the origins of "Huai River Civilization."
Afternoon: Stroll through Longzi Lake Park, take stunning photos at the island in the lake and the boardwalk, and wait by the lake in the evening for the "Long Huai Sunset."
Night: Explore Zhanggongshan Park and climb the Wanghuai Tower for a panoramic view of the city lights. At the foot of the mountain, try Bengbu’s specialty baked flatbread stuffed with pork tenderloin on the food street.
Day 2: Nostalgia and Nature
Morning: Visit the Hushang Sheng Mingyue Ancient Residence Expo Park, a reconstructed Ming and Qing dynasty architectural complex, perfect for Hanfu photos.
