[Bukhara] Beautiful Islamic architecture [Uzbekistan]

I'm sure you're all familiar with the term "mosque," but perhaps you're not familiar with the term "medrassa."

I had no idea what it was until I went to Uzbekistan.

A madrasah is a seminary that provides higher education in theology, law, and other subjects in the Islamic world. 🧐

There are many such beautiful seminaries in Uzbekistan. 🇺🇿

Two of them are in Bukhara: Abdulaziz Khan Madrasah and Ulugbek Madrasasi. 🍀

These two are built facing each other. ♪

Islamic architecture in Bukhara often uses blue and white colors, but Abdulaziz Khan Madrasah uses warm colors, which makes it a little different. ❤️
It's really beautiful...!

We went around 8 o'clock before it got crowded with tourists, so neither was open, and it's unclear whether you can enter normally. 🙏

There's probably a local cat in front of the entrance. There were a few cats that were fed and they were so cute 😻
