The place where I enjoyed a special dinner during my recent trip to Fukuoka Oita was the restaurant 割烹松秀 (Kappo Shoshu) inside the Gahama Terrace. I was really impressed by the refined kaiseki cuisine while taking in the beautiful scenery.

It was a luxurious and hearty course meal, and each meal felt like a work of art.
1️⃣ Appetizer: Seasonal spring vegetables and clams with fukimiso. A refreshing start to your meal!
2️⃣ Hot Soup: The deep soup flavor of Japanese bouillabaisse and shrimp dumplings was impressive.
3️⃣ Sashimi Plate: The combination of four types of sashimi, tofu skin, and salmon roe was fresh and clean. 4️⃣ Grilled Dish: Locally caught fish dried and grilled, the savory flavor was perfect.
5️⃣ Fried Dish:
• Snap bean fish fillet fritters
• Butterbur croquettes
• Lobster sea urchin gratin, the harmony of fried and grilled dishes was superb.
6️⃣ Nabe: Oita Wagyu Shabu Shabu and Burdock Paste. The soft taste of Wagyu was amazing.
7️⃣ Rice and Miso Soup: I filled my stomach with rice cooked in a cauldron and Japanese miso soup.
8️⃣ Dessert: Fresh fruit and tomato compote for a refreshing finish!

🌟 Special Experience Points
• Atmosphere: A meal with a tranquil beach view at Gahama Terrace was healing in itself.
• Service: The friendly explanations for each dish made it even more enjoyable.
