Beppu Tower to be renovated in January 2023!

Beppu Tower is a symbol of Beppu City, Oita Prefecture!

It is a 100-meter-tall tourist tower completed in 1957.

The observation deck is on the 17th floor, 55 meters above ground. You can enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view. You can see the unique scenery of Beppu, such as Beppu Bay, the city, and the hot spring town with steam rising from the hot springs!

The large-scale renovation work was completed in January 2023, and the exterior was restored to the gray paint it had when it was built. In addition, a new grass-covered "Kitahama Deck" was built on the 5th floor, and the observation decks on the 16th and 17th floors have also been renovated.
