Experience snow in Fukuoka

If you want to experience snow in Fukuoka, head to Beppu Ropeway. Located on a mountain in Kyushu, it’s easily accessible and not far from Fukuoka. At the top, you’ll enjoy a stunning 360-degree view and find a small shrine with a prominent red torii gate. The chilly weather at the summit ensures snow coverage during winter.

How to get there: From Fukuoka, take a train to Beppu Station and then transfer to a bus labeled 'Ropeway' at the front. The bus ride takes about 30-40 minutes and drops you right at the Ropeway entrance.
