Eurasian Journey: Germany

Germany is home to iconic landmarks like the Brandenburg Gate and numerous churches and cathedrals. Among them, the Cologne Cathedral stands out as truly breathtaking.

The country retains many remnants from World War II and the Cold War era, giving it a historical depth that surpasses its image as a mere tourist destination. This was my impression during the visit.

Prices are quite high (2-3 times that of Japan), so if you're on a budget, supermarkets are a good option.

Graffiti is widespread in the city. While I wouldn't say the safety is poor, I wouldn't recommend walking around at night.
