[Hokkaido] A picturesque pond wherever you take a photo

Shirokane Blue Pond in Biei, Hokkaido

The weather was very nice the day we went, and the locals said they'd never seen it look so beautiful before😊✨

The water that had accumulated in the dam during disaster prevention work on Mt. Tokachi took on a mysteriously blue color, and combined with the dead larch trees, it created a fantastic landscape that eventually came to be called the "Blue Pond"☺️
