Nanjing's fairy tale town, rivaling Switzerland's Qingshan Fishing Village

A hidden gem for Nanjing locals! I could spend a whole day in this "Little Switzerland" fishing village!

Who understands, family? 😭 I discovered a place even more magical than Qingdao's fishing village right here in Nanjing—not Switzerland! It's our very own Qingshan Fishing Village. Definitely no risk of disappointment for a weekend trip!

Last week, I drove there with friends, and as soon as we entered the village, we were amazed! 🌿 Everywhere you look, lush green mountains and clear water, so few people you can hear the birds chirping. If you want to escape the city, just close your eyes and come here—instantly cures all your blues!

For those driving, take my advice! 📍 Just set your GPS to Nanjing Qingshan Fishing Village. Public transport is really inconvenient. Carpooling with friends is perfect, and the scenery along the way is so beautiful you’ll want to stop and take photos anytime! 🚗

I checked the weather before going and worried about cloudy skies ruining photos, but when we arrived, the sunlight sparkling on the water was amazing! ☀️ Even if it’s cloudy, don’t worry—the misty village looks like a scene from a comic book, surprisingly atmospheric~

Here’s what to do! Camping with a tent is super comfortable. Find a patch of grass to lie on and soak up the sun; the breeze smells like fresh grass~ 🐟 Fishing fans, don’t forget your gear. My friend fished all afternoon and said it’s 100 times more relaxing than fishing in the city!

Dog owners will be thrilled! 🐶 My corgi ran happily on the grass and didn’t want to leave. This place is super pet-friendly, so no worries about crowds bothering others~

When you’re tired, find a small shop at the village entrance for coffee. ☕️ Sitting by the window watching the scenery, one sip slows everything down. You just can’t find this kind of relaxation in the city!

Photo tip you must know! Go shoot between 3-5 PM when the sunlight is soft. Use trees and wildflowers as backgrounds, 📷 and every shot will have depth. I posted 9 photos on my Moments, and all the comments asked for the location!
