Thai Buddhist Temple Bodhgaya

🌱🙏💐It is the first Thai temple in India. The ordination hall is a replica of Wat Benchamabophit Dusitwanaram Ratchaworawihan in Bangkok, which is considered one of the best architectures of the Rattanakosin period. Inside, there is the principal Buddha image, Phra Buddha Chinnarat, which was given the name "Phra Phuttha Thammasorn Chompu Thipaniwat Sukhothai", meaning "The Lord Buddha, the greatest in Dharma, returned to the Indian subcontinent to be happy". There is a painting of the Jataka tale of the Mahajanaka on the walls of the ordination hall.

🌿🍽️🛏️Inside the temple, there is also accommodation for pilgrims, called a sleeping hut, which must be contacted in advance, along with 3 meals on time, called a rice hut. There is also an alms offering shop that sells Thai food.
