ICONIC Borobudur Temple

The largest buddhist temple in the world!

After attended my friend’s wedding in Plataran Hotel, we decided to go to borobudur which is only 15-20 mins away. As we came around 4pm, we only managed to purchase entrance ticket. If you want to go up to the temple, then you have to come early , maybe in the morning. They dont let you climb up the temple after 4pm (if im not mistaken).

We bought the tickets on the booth, but it’s better to reserve and buy online.

Fee :
To the temple ground (entrance fee up to the temple ground)
Domestic Tickets
General: Rp 120.000
Child: Rp 75.000

Foreigner Tickets
Adult : USD 25
Child : USD 15

Additional fee if you wish to go up to the temple structure:
Adult: Rp 500.000 (foreigner) , Rp 150,000 (Indonesian)
