The Borobudur Temple is not only an iconic Buddhist temple in Jawa Tengah, also one of the world's seven wonders which nestled in:

The Borobudur Temple being on my bucket list for quite a time. When the time I visiting the temple, I'm truly awe-inspiring with its magnificent architecture which sitted majestically on a hilltop overlooking lush green fields. As a massive Buddhist temple, it also features a complex and profound architectural layout that symbolizes the Buddhist cosmology. 
According the introduction of our guide, the Borobudur Temple was built in 9th century with over two million volcanic stones, the structure 
has nine levels, each representing different stages of enlightenment in Buddhism. The intricate craftsmanship of these carvings showcases the exceptional skills of ancient artisans. It also reflect the social life, culture, and natural landscapes of ancient Java. 
⏩ Admission ticket: IDR 455,000(around RM128) included a guide and special footwear. Be noted to buy tickets online in advance as the number of visitors per day is limited. It's only 10 sessions per day & only 120 tickets are issued per session.
🕰️ Operating hours: Open daily from 6.30am - 4.30pm.
