Euro Summer at Lago di Braies: places where you can do free activities

Drive up to the Dolomites for summer outdoor activities like hiking, swimming and sunbathing. Lago di Braies is a perfect spot, with free parking available nearby and a whole lot of free activities for the family. You can swim in the lake or hike around it, or explore surrounding trails. There is a free WC at the far end of the lake, and many families had brought food to picnic there. There is no entry fee and bus tickets are fairly affordable (but sell out fast and must be reserved in advance). A perfect way to relax and cool down over the summer! There are easily accessible restaurants and hotels nearby, and if you are driving, you can also stay in one of the many Dolomites Rifugios which are fairly affordable and often can be accessed by public transport
