🇷🇴 Bucharest’s Old Town & a Hotel That’s Pure Gold ✨

Bucharest really impressed us — full of charm, history, and buzzing energy. We stayed at The Marmorosch Bucharest, Autograph Collection, and it was honestly one of the nicest hotel stays we’ve had in a while.

Housed in a beautifully restored former bank, the hotel oozes character — think Art Deco interiors, grand staircases, and a Vault Bar tucked inside the old bank vault (very cool!). We were welcomed with a glass of Prosecco on arrival, which was such a lovely touch — and the staff were genuinely warm and attentive throughout our stay.

The hotel sits right in the heart of Bucharest’s Old Town, where you’ll find cobbled streets, great food, quirky bars and loads of history around every corner. It’s lively, walkable and packed with atmosphere — day and night.

If you’re after a European city break that’s a bit different and full of character, definitely give Bucharest a go. And if you can stay at the Marmorosch — even better.
