I'm so confused. How can this Korean fried chicken shop not be popular?

I'm so proud to present this fried chicken restaurant in Korea! 'Outdark Chicken' 🍗🍻

I accidentally came across a review that rated this restaurant as the best fried chicken in Korea, so I wanted to try it to see if it was really that good. It was a restaurant I'd never heard of before, usually just the brand I often see in TV dramas. 😂

The first time I went to Busan, I went to the branch near Nampo. I searched on the map and was a bit confused about whether it was this restaurant or not. It had a dark, cowboy-like vibe, but it was. It's a fried chicken restaurant with a dark, wooden cowboy theme. Every branch looks the same. The restaurant is open from evening until late at night. Enjoying fried chicken with a cold drink and chatting is awesome.

The restaurant has an English menu, so you can just point and click. There are many flavors of fried chicken. I like to order the boneless half, which is fried normally and tossed in sauce. When it's served, wow, the portion is huge (but worth the price, considering it's a bit on the high side at over 20,000 won). I was pleasantly surprised when I took my first bite. The outside was crispy, and the inside was juicy and not dry. I could eat it all without feeling full. I don't know how they fried it, but it was so delicious it lived up to its reputation, lol.

On the plate, they served French fries and fried rice cakes. They seemed to have a light dusting of honey butter powder on them, making them incredibly chewy. There were four different sauces to dip them in. The sauce was so-so, and it was delicious even on its own. There were salad and pickled radish on the side, which you can ask for refills. There were two of us, and we ordered one plate. When it arrived, we thought we wouldn't be able to finish it, but we finished it in no time, lol.

Three days later, we went to Seoul, searched for a branch in Seoul, and then went to Sinchon again. After that, we had to go to Outdark again when we went to Korea. Just talking about it makes me want to eat it again. If you love crispy, juicy fried chicken, give it a try. I think you'll love it. It's truly amazing! 🤎🤎🤎
