🇭🇺 Budapest, Hungary
💛 Széchenyi Baths and Pool

My family is currently traveling in Europe during the winter. Since the days in Europe are so short (it starts to get dark at 4pm) and it’s so cold, we can’t do many activities, so we stayed in Budapest, famous for its hot springs, for 3 nights and 4 days, enjoying the hot springs and enjoying the charm of a winter travel destination.

We visited the Széchenyi Baths in Budapest, famous for its hot springs. The Széchenyi Baths consists of 2 large outdoor hot springs, 1 swimming pool, and about 10 indoor baths and 2 wet and dry saunas.

Since it’s such a famous hot spring, there are a lot of people and the water temperature isn’t as hot as in Korean hot springs. It was lukewarm, so we were able to stay for a long time. On top of that, it was so cold outside the outdoor baths that we couldn’t help but stay for a long time. I entered at 1pm and left at 6pm.

I was able to see a beautiful sunset around 3:30pm!

When using the hot springs, you don't need to wear a swimsuit, but you do need a swimsuit when using the pool, so if you're going to use the pool, bring a swimsuit!!

I felt like all my fatigue was gone after taking a warm bath in the hot springs on a cold winter day💛
