I had the pleasure of visiting the Ark of Bukhara in March, and it was such a fascinating experience! Spring is definitely the best season to explore this historical gem — the weather is mild, flowers are blooming, and everything feels alive. The Ark itself is a massive fortress that dates back to around the 5th century AD. Walking through its ancient walls, you can almost hear the whispers of history.

This place isn’t just about old stones — it tells stories of royalty, battles, and life in one of Central Asia’s most important cities.
