Introducing Qilipo

Qilipo, a famous dangerous slope in Mount Emei, Sichuan Province, is the longest and last dangerous slope on the way to the Golden Summit. It is named after its length of 7 li.

Qilipo has about 31 bends and more than 2,380 stone steps. The mountain is steep and the road winds upward, giving people the feeling of climbing to the sky. Fir, rhododendron, arrow bamboo and various shrubs and vines on the roadside form a high mountain green corridor. Strange trees and rocks are dotted in between, forming natural rock bonsai. People walking among them feel like they are in a painting, so it is also called the "Seven-Li Corridor".
