Xinjiang's Colorful Beach

Xinjiang's Colorful Beach, with its fairytale-like Yadan landforms, is said to offer a chance to see a dreamy, colorful landscape at sunset!
Located in the Altay region of Xinjiang, near the northern bank of the Irtysh River, the Colorful Beach scenic area may be small in size, but its valleys and hills are staggered in height, with peculiar rocks resembling the feet of giants, making it quite unique!
Due to its location in an arid area, the large rocks of the Colorful Beach have been shaped by river erosion and strong winds into many steep mounds and wide, shallow grooves, along with steep cliffs and hills, creating picturesque scenery. In the distance, you can also see rows of wind turbines, making it a great spot for photography.
The best time to visit is at sunset, when the colorful clouds and the reflection of the poplar forest on the opposite bank in the water make for perfect photo opportunities. However, there are quite a lot of mosquitoes in the wilderness, so you can't stay for long.
