Busan|Test Your Leg Strength at Taejongdae and Meet the Cats of Yeongdo

The best thing about Busan is that almost all attractions are accessible by public transportation. Take bus number 88 and get off at Taejongdae Onsen, and you'll find yourself on a leg-strengthening journey.

Within the park, there are trains that shuttle between attractions, an observatory, Yeongdo Lighthouse, and Taejongsa Temple.

The most challenging part for your legs is the Yeongdo Lighthouse. The stairs built along the mountain offer a breathtaking view of the southern coastline of Yeongdo. By the time you reach the lighthouse, you'll be out of breath.

To capture the beautiful spiral staircase, you'll need to muster the strength to climb the lighthouse that has illuminated Busan for over a century.

The return trip to the train station is the real test, with hundreds of steps going uphill, making you feel like you're challenging a furnace.

Fortunately, we encountered the cats of Yeongdo along the way, and taking photos with them while resting made the journey back more enjoyable.

Confident in your leg strength? Come and challenge Taejongdae!
