Let me introduce a few of the Gijang destinations I visited myself.

🌿 Byeongsan Reservoir

The mountain's shadow reflecting on the calm waters is so peaceful. It's a healing spot, reminiscent of a country lake, despite being close to the city.

🎢 Lotte World Busan

Riding the rides and screaming loudly will melt away all your stress. Each theme zone has a different atmosphere, making for great photo opportunities. It's an amusement park that's perfect for families and couples alike! (Personally, I still recommend the afternoon pass over the all-day pass...)

🏛️ Park Tae-jun Memorial Hall

This is a place where you can learn about the life of POSCO founder Park Tae-jun and the history of the steel industry. While it's not large, the exhibits are rich and informative, making it a great place to quietly reflect on the meaning of the experience.

🌊 Ilgwang Beach

It's quieter than Gwangalli Beach, so you can fully enjoy the ocean. Walking along the beach while listening to the sound of the waves, you'll lose track of time, and the sunset is especially captivating.

🛍️ Shinsegae Outlet (Dongbu Branch)

As the largest outlet in Korea, it offers a wide variety of brands, and you can enjoy delicious restaurants and cafes after shopping. The outdoor terrace is perfect for a quick break.

⛪ Jukseong Dream Cathedral

This cathedral, famous for its drama filming locations, is even more romantic thanks to its oceanfront location. The Gothic-style exterior is exotic, and the surrounding walking trails are charming, making it a must-visit.
