While traveling through Gijang in Busan, I visited Haedong Yonggungsa. Located right next to the seaside, the sound of waves and the refreshing sea breeze from the entrance heightened the excitement of the trip. The harmonious blend of the temple and the sea created a picturesque view, like a painting.

Walking slowly along the temple's trail, you’ll find photo-worthy spots such as dragon sculptures set against the sea, beautiful bridges, and pagodas, naturally making you pause to take in the sights. At sunset, the sky turns crimson, and the sunlight over the sea deepens the emotional experience of the journey.

Around the temple, there are spaces where you can enjoy simple souvenirs and drinks, making it a great place to take a break and relax during your walk. Haedong Yonggungsa is not just a tourist destination but a must-visit spot in Gijang, Busan, where you can enjoy the sea, the temple, healing, and a leisurely stroll.
