Haedong Yonggungsa Temple is a seaside Buddhist temple located in Busan, South Korea. It is one of Korea's most iconic coastal temples, renowned for its unique "mountain-back, sea-facing" geographical wonder and stunning ocean views. Often referred to as "Korea's most beautiful seaside temple," it attracts numerous visitors.
For public transportation, you can take Metro Line 2 to "Haeundae Station," then transfer to Bus No. 181 for about 20–30 minutes.
On the day of the visit, I traveled via public transportation. There were many foreign tourists, and the journey was relatively long. Therefore, I recommend visiting this place only if you are staying in Busan for several days; it’s not necessary to make a special trip just to see it.
