.. Originally the summer residence of King Rama VI, built between 1923 and 1924 by Italian architect Ercole Manfredi.

.. The palace complex has an architectural style mixed with Thai and Western styles. The entire building is made of golden teak wood, raised under reinforced concrete piers above the beach.
