Changsha is so trendy, even its temples are ahead of the times.

My first stop in Changsha—Kaifu Temple.
I was truly amazed.
Temples can be this fun to visit?!

🔺The little monk statues are so cute! Even though they're made of stone, they're so adorable I just want to touch them!
🔺You can get a necklace for your pet. With any purchase, you can add on a necklace. Each person can only redeem one, so if you have two pets, it's best to go with another person.
🔺The bracelets and prayer beads at Kaifu Temple are quite expensive... (not as cost-effective as those at Nanputuo Temple🤫)
🔺The vegetarian noodles are delicious! It says pickled mustard green broth, but... isn't it actually meigan cai? 😂 The texture is very similar... Or is this what they call pickled mustard greens in Changsha? A northerner is confused🤔 But it's really fragrant! Ten yuan a bowl is enough for a girl.
🔺The new exhibition blew my mind! In today's digital media age, even temples are keeping up with the times. A digital scripture library, tapping a wooden fish on a tablet, a 3D immersive Buddhist learning experience, a cyberpunk Buddha... Kaifu Temple, you're incredibly impressive!!!
🔺There are two photo spots, one with words on the wall and the other with photo props provided by the temple. They're both great for taking pictures!

Tickets: 10 yuan, including three incense sticks upon entry.
Opening hours: 6:30–18:00
Transportation: Take Metro Line 1 to Kaifu Temple Station, Exit 1, and walk about 300m.
